My favorite word in Swedish is
Kalas.
It is pronounced: ka(as in Kafka)+l+a(as in autumn)+s.

It means party. However, it is only used for children. So if a child is to have a birthday party, he will be having a kalas.I love the fact that a word has an age limit. When I turned six, I thought I realized kalas was for babies and decided I was having a party instead.
Today I only want to have kalas, and not parties.. And if kalas only applies to children, that just enhances the word. So all my future celebrations will be in the spirit of that.

Kramkalas means "hug party"
How pretty is that?
